Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to meal preparation and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. You will work collaboratively with other team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences while adhering to dietary guidelines and catering needs.

Duties

• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, and assembling dishes according to recipes and dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and food safety standards are met.
• Support the dietary department by following specific meal plans and accommodating special dietary needs.
• Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately.
• Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with setup, service, and cleanup.
• Follow all food handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is a plus.
• Experience in catering or working within a dietary department is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
